Annette Kinslow is an acclaimed wire artist and instructor. She has taught her art for 8 years in the Houston area In addition to teaching Basic Beading, Freeform Wire Wrap, and Formal Framed Cabochon Wire Wrapping, she has developed original designs to use as teaching projects. These designs include her Ancient Celtic Link Bracelet, several styles of earrings, Elegant Wire Ring, Simple Wire Ring, Wire Bangle, Linked Beads Necklace, and the incredible “Bedazzled” Bracelet. Annette is the creator and driving force behind Wire Fandango—a weekend long wire art event held for the first time in a bed and breakfast in San Antonio, Texas
Among her awards and accolades are: 3 time winner of first place at the Rikki Mittman “Bead and Tea” event, judged by professional Houston artists, finalist in Fire Mountain beading and jewelry contest, and special guest artist interviewed by Mona Hair on her show “The Jewelry Connection.”
Annette has been exhibited at the following galleries: Eastman Gallery, Houston, Texas; Bosque Gallery at Cypress Fairbanks Community College, Cypress, Texas; Da Vinci Gallery, Houston, Texas; The Potters’ Guild, Rice Village, Houston, Texas; and The Courtyard Gallery, La Conner, Washington.
