By Doni Langlois Hand built clay art – both functional and sculptural pieced together from slabs leaving seams and fingerprints obvious. Doni uses darts like a seamstress and indents into the soft clay to create gesture and whimsical shape so that each piece might have a personality.
Be curious about the world around you. My art reflects my interest in science and nature. Also, light and darkness. I’m a digital artist, creating abstracts and realism- expressionist works. Many abstracts start life as fractals, which is my way to balance my logical side with my creative nature. At times, I feel very split […]

Layered Beauty Designs The Mosaic Series started in 2013 with the “Mosaic Elephant” and is constantly evolving. When creating each animal, I move fluidly through the process with sensitivity to the way I am feeling: every line, color, and texture is made focusing on the energy that encompasses me at the time. Further, patterns naturally […]
I create abstract paintings and mixed media work. My abstract style is emergent: I let the painting take me where it wants to go. Much of my mixed media work are collages using acrylic mediums and interesting papers. The collages range from a mosaic-like style with faces and/or symbols to abstract to landscapes. A current […]
by Steve Ulrich Handmade studio furniture using wood and metal. Welded structures provide function while their patinations add to the aesthetic appeal. Rich exotic woods (padauk, mahogany, lacewood, purpleheart, walnut) bring warmth to the steel structure. Styles range from modern to my interpretation on mid-century modern. facebook.com/fab.weld.wood

My pieces are inspired by the lovely gemstones that I come across. To accentuate those stones I use sterling silver, 14K gold-filled elements, handmade natural brass, freshwater pearls, and Swarovski crystals.
My medium is a varied mix of tiny shells, scraps of paper, slivers of glass, thick gel mediums, crusted gouache additives, creamy acrylic and globs of oil paints, traces of watercolor and melted wax crayons combined with hardened enamels and carefully chosen 14kt gold flake. Every piece is original and every creation is an unpredictable […]
I love to paint and that is what I do now. My paintings reflect my life and God’s creation. I render many coastal themed pieces, but also love animals and people. My goal is to reflect the personality of my subjects or the character and charm of objects. Acrylics are my go paint for smaller […]

Since the mid-1980s I have been interested in the form and tonality of B&W and the drama of dynamic color in photography. Strong graphic qualities are what my eye is attracted to when on any photoshoot, be it an urban or nature setting. In both environments, I am particularly interested in those quiet, isolated moments […]
I am an abstract artist using fluid brush strokes, sprays or pours to create one of a kind works of art on canvas. I don’t paint for critics or the masses but for myself. I create because I feel—it’s as simple as that. I share because it connects with my audience. Everyone is going through […]

As far as I can remember I always had a lot of fun creating art. Making drawings of crazy characters has always been my way of generating smiles around me. In the year 2003 I began to paint. My basic idea was to transport the characters that I drew on paper to canvas. Starting from […]
KOLORIZED by eva konopkaI create unique colored pencil drawings, which come out of love for bringing vibrant colors together and mixing them in abstract forms on a white page. I run the show, yes, but I got started in all this because I am an artist. I rarely bring my art to the market though and when I do bring it, I’m as surprised as anyone else! Currently, I’m a board member at Art Colony Association, producers of Houston’s Bayou City Art Festival. I […]
