Zoe White
Abstract Impressionist Artist
Growing up in The Woodlands area, I am a proud Texan. I find joy in expressing the beauty of nature and creation through my abstract impressionist floral art. My hope is that each brushstroke brings vibrant life to every environment. I’m happily married to my best friend, Jon, and together, we share a beautiful life with our two amazing children and a cherished granddaughter.
My passion for creative arts ignited at the age of 4, and it has remained unwavering over the years. Although my career in visual management took various forms, my heart persistently whispered, ‘It’s time for change. A pivotal moment of growth, healing, and revelation led me to embrace my true calling as an artist. In recent years, I’ve rekindled my love for painting, delighting in transforming blank white canvases into blossoming florals.
BEHIND THE ART
Why do I paint Flowers? I love the natural free spirit of a flower & how it is in nature, their ability to thrive anywhere, under any circumstances, while exuding exquisite beauty. In my paintings, I aim to convey the essence of growth and freedom that they symbolize. My hope is that viewers of my art feel this freedom.
As I create my floral paintings, I draw inspiration from the various stages of a flower’s growth transformation. From the vivid and fresh hues during blossoming to the gradual shift toward deep & rich colors as they gracefully fade. Using acrylic paint as my preferred medium, I layer colors and apply spontaneous brushstrokes to capture the essence of these beautiful moments.
