Daniel’s Unique Art Forms is a Houston, Texas based sculptor metal artist by Daniel Rocha. With interest in working with recycled metal to create a detailed master piece sculpture. Daniel started creating metal sculptures when he pursued a career as a welder in 2006.
His artwork is intricate using precision gas tungsten arc welding. Daniel’s inspiration comes from being surrounded by musicians and once had his own band during his teenage years. His love for rock n roll can be seen in his work. Daniel is not afraid of breaking boundaries and has created other works of art not related to music. Most of his sculptures are formed using stainless steel, brass, sheet metal and carbon steel. After showing his work for over 6 years, his work has caught the attention of local newspapers, musicians, buyer alike, and a former mayor.
Richard S. Hall has a real love and appreciation for the Texas Gulf Coast. It shows in his paintings, drawings, and writings. Trained as a medical and scientific illustrator and architectural delineator, his works easily capture the character and essence of  his subjects. Many of those subjects are harbor scenes, sporting scenes, and natural science. His writings most often focus on architecture, history, and natural science. He has won numerous awards and has exhibited in the US, Mexico, Canada, Europe, and the middle East. His works can be found in collections throughout the globe. 713-305-1991 facebook.com/ThePintailGroup

Michelle Macy at the 10 year anniversary of First Saturday Arts Market.
November 12, 2015
Just a few weeks ago, my friend, artist, THEÂ first volunteer at the art market, and everyone’s impromptu muse; Michelle Macy, was in a near fatal auto accident. She survived with her neck broken in two places, a brace and 8 weeks of immobility to hopefully let the bones heal to avoid surgery. Â YIKES!
I alerted the other artists, [we have a private Facebook group] and after a phone conversation, let them know Michelle would love some cards, flowers and or visitors. BOOM off they went – she also anguished over not having a laptop so she could reconnect with the world. The available PC was to hard for her to use in her condition. BOOM – Brandi Untz, responded immediately that she could refurbish one she had. WOW!
Hopefully, I’ll get that computer to Michelle today or tomorrow and if she lets me, I’ll post a new pic her for you.
This is something that continually impresses me about the community that has formed around our art market. I love this!
Thank you Brandi!
UPDATE: November 24, 2015.
At the same time Brandi and I met for me to pick up the laptop, Michelle was at the Doctor and he was not happy with what he saw.
The Doctor scheduled an immediate surgery to correct what was apparently her neck “slipping” forward above the breaks. (That was Friday the 13th) The following morning Michelle underwent a 4 hour (6 with prep etc) procedure that ended with 6 screws securing the bone.
Michelle was sent home the following Monday evening and after a few scheduling snafu’s, I was finally able to get Michelle her laptop yesterday! She was shocked and overwhelmed with gratitude when I assured her that the laptop was hers to keep, even after she recovered.
Currently, she has a hard time moving around, and is limited in many aspects of life that we easily take for granted. So having the mobility and use of a laptop is awesome! Â Hopefully, she’ll able to go home and care for herself by February, but still has a year of healing to do.
Michelle also asked that I thank the many artists and friends that have been sending her cards and well wishes. There are a lot BTW!

I worked in the banking industry for as long as I can remember, you know one of those boring people you only spoke to when you had to. My Mother had recently retired from her life long job and we were trying to find her a hobby. We decided to look into beading, Mother wasn’t interested; but I was IMMEDIATELY hooked.
I started out small, buying inexpensive beads for myself and family members. Customers at the bank began commenting on my jewelry and wanted to know where I had bought the piece. When I told them I had made them and they were for sale I quickly became a walking jewelry store. Rarely did I make it home with the jewelry I had worn leaving the house.
Now I am retired and design constantly, there isn’t a room in the house that doesn’t have a bead somewhere. Previously I bought jewelry to match my clothes, NOW I buy clothes to match my jewelry.
My creations are handmade and one-of-a-kind, with unique vintage elements carefully handpicked from antique markets in France. In designing my creations I combine vintage elements with modern material creating eclectic, elegant and playful pieces, recalling days gone by. www.perleamies.com
