Behind the scenes and as a patron, Chris doesn’t miss many art shows. He left one volunteer gig early to join us on Saturday. Chris is head of artist relief at Bayou City Art Festival, so we all kind feel Bone-A-Fide now! When Chris isn’t volunteering or attending art functions, find him at his shop, Speed & Performance Fabrication – Automotive Customizing.

By the time everyone is done setting up, Kevin arrives! Then we relax as Kevin speaks for us all as the Info Booth Aficionado! Thanks goodness, cause the rest of us are way to tired to talk.
Kevin and Amy have steered the artists at White Linen Night in the right direction for several years now, they work miracles! Kevin has also volunteered at First Saturday Arts Market for the past 5+ years. They are … AWESOME!
I am a professionally trained artist having earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Houston. Since then I have continued practicing my craft exploring various styles, materials and techniques creating highly detailed pieces. While my work is diverse both in choice of medium and subject matter, it centers around nature and organic forms.
When Ranger isn’t working or volunteering at events like White Linen Night, she helps out at her friends farm. Her favorite cause: www.HoustonAudubon.org

These awesome young folks were the porters to all the artists. Insuring the artists got unloaded quickly so we could clear the street for patrons. They were a tremendous help!
Many thanks also to Recreation Supervisor, Steve Mesa, for organizing this awesome army of volunteers! Thank you all!

Darlene Besier is a jeweler and crafts art from tin and “upcycles” materials into all kinds of cool things. Then one day she was given a camera, and she’s been escaping from her booth ever since, snapping all her artist colleagues at shows whenever she can. We don’t mind! Darlene captured the scenes and happenings on 19th that most of us missed while we were in our booths. Thanks Darlene! Visit her page and catch her at upcoming First Saturday Arts Markets and we’ve spied her at Discovery Green Flea too. Click here.

Portraits, weddings, events or you name it this awesome couple is up to the task! Both have attended the arts market as vendors and stepped and volunteered their combined talent to photograph the most popular event we do! Thank you Monica & Mauro! Facebook Page
