“I don’t usually attend these very crowded events and I knew I’d been missing out over all these years.  I committed to volunteering so I couldn’t back out last minute. I’m so glad I did! It was a super easy gig. I signed up for 2 one-hour shifts. I got to support the artists, who totally made the night such a success. And instead of feeling lost & on my own, I had a reason to talk to lots of new people as I fulfilled my volunteer duties.
