My paintings are all dimensional. I use cut bowling pins, tennis racquets, PVC pipe, and any other materials found in construction, nature, or your junk drawer to build out from the canvas.
I create abstract acrylic paintings on board, canvas and other materials using recycled and repurposed materials from my garage, house, and junk drawer. I have a passion for recovering and reusing materials from my home construction projects (my wife has an extensive honey-do list for me, especially since I am recently retired). My work is colorful, dimensional, eye-catching, and dynamic. facebook.com/Art-by-Butter artbybutter.com
Handcrafted original designs. Fabrication, wax carving and wire weaving techniques are implemented.

I paint colorful still life and florals, working primarily in oils. My design background comes through in my love of graphic patterns, dynamic compositions, and bold colors. Painting, for me, is all about having fun! I am endlessly fascinated by the way light brings life and form to objects, and how shadows bring life to a composition.

As a studio artist, I have the freedom to adjust colors and composition of ordinary landscapes with unusual colors and styles.
I’m calling this first painting of 2025, Easy Landing, finished! I don’t know what it is about the sound of waves, the smell of salt air and cry of seagulls that lift my spirit and calm my soul. My love for painting seascapes seems to grow with each finished piece so look for more to come.

I am Zahra Reihani, a self-taught artist and creator of Termeh Handcrafts.
Since childhood, I have had a passion for creating and I have been always been interested in learning new things. I also love painting on canvas, glass, creating decoupage, and leather crafts.
I am a full-time nurse with a passion for art, design and craft, and I find inspiration for my designs from almost everything around me. While creating, I am separated from the world, my spirit and heart are soothed in the creation process.
I hope each piece shows my feelings and makes you happy as well. While creating these pieces of art, I do my best to make every item unique and pay close attention to the details.
I wish you a wonderful time going through my little shop. etsy.com/shop/TermehHandcrafts @termehhandcrafts
I love objects with multiple personalities- recognizable things that change when incorporated in a piece of artwork. I see that in my work- where antiques and recycled or found objects suggest one thing while the image may suggest another. I love how the layering of encaustic wax reflects the light differently depending on your viewpoint- like water and glass do.

At a young age, Sarah discovered her love for art. The process of creating was what sparked her interest. As her love for art continued to grow, she knew the right career choice was to become an artist & art educator. She has now taught art in Houston for 4 years. In 2016, after a life-changing experience, she knew she needed to rediscover her passion for creating. It wasn’t until she started to create again, that she was able to see her true potential as an artist. Her approach to art is intuitive & free flowing as she dives into each new work. She is inspired by color & the process of applying it to her canvas.
“And though the process can sometimes be ugly, it is the final moment that makes it all worth it,” Rimboch said. “Complete satisfaction knowing there is something sitting in front of me that only exists because I created it. And that, is ultimately what fuels my passion.”
