Amy Cantu

Amy began painting over 10 years ago as a hobby.  Creating abstract pieces quickly became less of a hobby and more of a passion.  She started with acrylic but then transitioned into encaustic and resin.  Encaustic is a wax based paint that is melted and painted onto a wooden substrate.  Resin is a two part compound that hardens to a clear glossy finish.
