Mark McMahon, known as Mark 5 Art, is a mixed-media artist driven by the belief that “Art Provokes Thought.”
Through a distinctive process of slicing raw canvas into letters and shapes, then reassembling them into textured compositions, Mark creates layered works where meaning is both boldly declared and deliberately concealed. Viewers are drawn into an active search — peeling back abstraction to uncover messages that reflect their own experiences and perspectives.
