My name is Dmitry and I am a landscape, urban, and travel photographer based in Houston, Texas. Through photography, I aim to express my own admiration and excitement about the places I visited and the things I have seen. My style in photography is to bring the best of my subjects through advantageous angles, composition, vibrant colors, and interesting light.
I have visited more than 30 countries so far and I will never cease to be amazed by all the interesting people and exciting new places which I see through the lens of my camera. I publish some of my photographs on this page but full portfolio and more information can be found at my web site www.nevozhay.com
During the last several years I have traveled all over the world and seen magnificent places and things I would have never imagined. I love photographing animals and nature and then turning them into works of art, from wild animals in Africa to monks blessing the Ganges in India and much more. My original photographs are archival pigment printed on art paper and then I hand paint embellishments and highlights onto each individual print. Each print becomes its own work of art, unique in itself. My love of travel, nature, and art have led me to this path. Through my art, I hope to bring to the viewer a glimpse into the world of nature and beauty. 713-301-5407

Vicki Ryer & James Bird are photographers drawn to bright saturated colors and texture. They are intrigued by how everything can take on an entirely new life when taken out of context by the click of a shutter. An ongoing exploration of shape, shadow, color and light presents a view of the world in beautiful bold colors, often with a minimalist or abstract perspective. All of their miniature photographs are presented as they were seen through the viewfinder and are individually printed by the photographers using archival materials, signed and numbered in editions of 100 or less. fineartcolorphotography.com

I am a landscape and nature photographer living in Houston, Texas. My goal is to seek out inspiring rural locations and subjects, either natural or man-made, and capture them with the medium of photography to create fine art of the highest quality. http://www.herschbachphotography.com 713-454-9468
I grew up in a small town in Oklahoma and spent my childhood playing outdoors in the woods, fields, streams, and lakes. I have never much cared for the hustle and bustle of city life. My inspiration comes from my time spent walking, running, biking, riding, and driving the back roads where relatively few travel. Open pasture instead of parking lots. Silos instead of skyscrapers. Barns instead of strip malls. Hills and mountains instead of overpasses and super domes. The rural areas speak to me.
I became interested in art at a young age. My Aunt bought me Mark Kistler’s Draw Squad for my birthday when I was twelve and it taught me the fundamentals of creating a three dimensional world on a two dimensional piece of paper. In Junior High, I took a year of private instruction from a local acrylic painter who worked with wildlife and landscapes. During this time I also was taking piano lessons and even taught myself to play the harmonica and the guitar. I grew to enjoy and become skilled in various arts.
Throughout this time I had experimented in photography, from my first 110 film camera given to me by my first grade teacher, to the Minolta SLR I chose as a high school graduation present. However, it wasn’t until December of 2009 that I began to take photography more seriously when I decided that I would like to create some artwork to hang on the walls in our home. In order to do this, I knew that I had to develop a strong foundation for the technical aspect of photography and to continue developing my artistic eye and mind, which I had already begun years before.
I began scouring the internet and reading every book I could get my hands on and watching countless hours of videos on image processing. I submitted select photos for critique by professional photographers. I took on voluntary photography projects at work and at my church to learn how to use light effectively and picked up some small family portrait jobs here and there for family and friends. With every photograph I created, I grew closer to being able to use photography as not just a way to capture a beautiful scene or subject, but as a viable method of communicating emotion, a fundamental principle of fine art. While I understand that mastery of any genre of art is subjective and, at best, difficult to attain, I wish to share with you the artwork that I create along the way as I work toward this goal.
I am a Houston-based photographer specializing in “found art” – unusual views on everyday objects and locations – with a scavenger aesthetic that is evident both in my subject matter and my framing presentations. Although photography is far and away my primary medium, I also display a number of mixed media and textile repurposed creations. To me, scavenging is the art of nostalgia in a disposable world! Please check out my website at www.jennywilde.com to view my gallery and for more information on my scavenger aesthetic.832-722-7148
A photographer and mixed media artist, Vena Ashley calls her unusual technique photographic mixed media. Her images have a rustic quality and though are recent, many have a timeless quality.
After graduating from Sam Houston State in 2006 with a bachelor of fine arts degree in advertising graphic design and photography, Ashley worked as a graphic designer until October 2013. She then decided to finally take the first step at being a working artist and has been showing and producing art ever since.
Ashley has had a camera in hand ever since she first knew what a camera was. By using art and photography as a means to document the world around her, she allows her viewers to see things how she sees them — things that sometimes are overlooked. This exploration of the overlooked helps Ashley engage more deeply in her own life. She views her art as self-expression and says that everyone takes and feels something different when they look at a piece of her art.
Her most popular works are a series taken in France and Luxembourg of city streets, cafes and the countryside. The 7-step process of transferring her images to wood and metal, take the viewer to another time and place.
I create artistic interpretations of life. Each moment of time is different. The lighting, the people the moment of time itself. I capture life using an instant film camera then I interpret its spirit as an artist. I paint on top of the actual photograph ( 2.5 inches x 5 inches ) creating a one of a kind art piece. The photo is now art and there is no other copy of the actual photo. When the art is complete it represents that one of a kind moment in time. I call my technique: LIQUID EMULSION. The eye of a photographer. The heart of an artist.
My art is available both as original and in printed versions. 713-569-4204
