My inspiration for the choices I make for texture, colors and design comes from nature. I create original fused glass works using a variety of techniques and types of glass. No two are alike owing to choices of shape, color and texture. My work consists of both functional and decorative pieces which work with divergent styles and tastes. @dellingtonartstudioFacebookD.EllingtonArtStudio.com 713-899-0112
Whether it’s a whimsical smile, geometric shapes, or woven glass our fusing work intends to show off the various ways glass reacts to heat. While that reaction is predictable to a point, our goal is to take advantage of the serendipity that comes with trying new combinations of glass and techniques to obtain truly unusual results.
We are also happy to take on commissions to create that special object that is just right for you. If you have an idea you need help with to bring to fruition, we can help with design as well as creating that special something.

This unique art form called Chigirie consists of tearing and cutting handmade Japanese paper into pieces to form a picture onto artist canvas. Although it has the look of watercolor, acrylic, or oil paint, NO PAINT is used in creating the picture, thereby calling it “Painting With Paper”. All sides of the canvas are completely finished and wrapped with the papermaking framing unnecessary. When completed, it is sealed with varnish or resin. Recently resin and acrylic art has been added to the collection. paintingwithpaper.net  Facebook
