My medium is a varied mix of tiny shells, scraps of paper, slivers of glass, thick gel mediums, crusted gouache additives, creamy acrylic and globs of oil paints, traces of watercolor and melted wax crayons combined with hardened enamels and carefully chosen 14kt gold flake.
Every piece is original and every creation is an unpredictable surprise! I create with a clear heart, no expectations. The materials combined together create a resist-like reaction and the results are different every time…..each piece is genuinely unique and original!
I’m passionate about living the artful life. I have a great appreciation for nature and animals,20% of all sales goes to S.N.A.P. (Spay and Neuter Assistance Program) for animals. I am also an active advocate for the “Adopt Don’t Shop!” movement which means finding forever homes for our homeless furry friends.

My paintings are based on direct observation. I take my French easel out into the city I call home, Houston TX. The subject matter, although always changing, is often the confluence of what I love about Houston; it’s buildings, bayous, highways, tree-lined streets and lush parks and gardens. I hope you can see the beauty of Houston in my Urban Landscapes. 713-305-6626 https://deatlyart.net@deatlyarthur

Even though I’m from Houston I received my BFA from Kansas City Art Institute. I was influenced by a professor that said art started and ended with Cezanne. My style is based on the plein air approach of painting from direct observation much like Cezanne approached his subject matter. I go out every week and paint the city I live in, It is my honest response to what I call the Beautiful Ugly that is Houston a place built in a swampy mosquito-infested marshland designed based more on greed happen chance than esthetics. Highway byways bayous and buildings.
SEAN WALTERS Songwriter, singer & rhythm guitar player. A fixture on the Houston music scene since his Old Market Square gigs in the 70’s, Sean was well known during the 80’s for presenting the Sean Walters’ Songwriters Showcase every Sunday night. He started that at the Heights Diner, then moved to Blythe Spirits, then took the showcase to Chelsea 804. Sean was well known around town in those days & was respected as a songwriter & showman. He also had a group called the Wooters that did performance art shows. In the 70’s Sean had a lot of success on the college circuit with a country rock band called Walters & Hickman. Sean also starred as Judas in a bootleg production of Jesus Christ Superstar that toured the US.

Popfancy Pops are handcrafted daily using market fresh ingredients and organic sweeteners. Our incredible tasting ice pops are made using fresh produce hand-selected at the peak of the season, so the flavor menu changes often to reflect our green-thumb approach to cooking. We also believe equally as important as what we put in our pops is what we don’t put in, so best efforts go into “naked” recipes, steering clear from preservatives, fillers, dyes, and artificial sweeteners. In the end, what you see is what you get. www.popfancypops.com
My work is inspired by travel, adventure, wanderlust, emotions, connections and relationships, I enjoy painting with acrylics and love metallics and reflective surfaces.
After travelling extensively I have now settled in Texas. My BA Hons degree is from Edinburgh College of Art in Scotland, UK.
As well as co-ordinating the Hubbell and Hudson & Eight art exhibitions, I am also an exhibiting artist at St Lukes Hospital and The Hyatt Hotel in The Woodlands, Texas.
Many people would look at my art and try to classify it into a certain category. This got me to thinking about how I could describe my style. My style can be described as real whimfansical. This description comes from the fact that my art is a combination of three styles. It is whimsical, mixed with fantasy and realism. After thinking about this combination I came up with the name real whimfansical, pronounced (whim-fans-ical). The name includes all three elements: whimsical, fantasy, and realism to produce whimfansical. leticiafrankio.com
