After graduating from a Houston art college in 1992, Charlie had a 15-year career as a package designer in a Houston design company. While working on packaging for Minute Maid, Imperial Sugar and Hi-C, Charlie free-lanced as a rock poster artist on the side. After an illness in 2003 left him legally blind in 2007 and corporate downsizing in 2008 left him without a job, Charlie fell back on his love for creating rock posters as a way to earn a living. Now working out of his home studio, Charlie enjoys the time he dedicates to producing posters and exploring other areas of art including painting and print making.

In creating my pieces, I want viewers to feel them as much as they see them. I combine realistic images with the elemental use of color and texture. I strive to induce a feeling that renders words somewhat inadequate. www.vivianmoraart.com 713-385-5548

I make handcrafted furniture, sculptures, lamps and art creatively designed with an industrial bent using all my skills learned over a lifetime of wood and metalworking. Most of all, I enjoy sourcing the reclaimed materials and the inspiration that comes from finding new ways to use existing items. My furniture makes use of a variety of elements : steel, copper, iron, and the entire spectrum of hardwoods: oak, pecan, birch and maple. I get great satisfaction from making something that works perfectly for a customer’s environment, something custom and unique that can’t be purchased at any retail store. www.carpendeum.com 713-315-7150

I create fused glass in my studio; beginning with sheets of glass, I cut, stack, and shape pieces and then fuse them together to create original functional art. Most are sandblasted and fire polished to give a matte finish to add an extra dimension to the art piece.

Design Aesthetic: I prefer designs that highlight the natural beauty of stones using the classic elements of jewelry design with a modern interpretation to reflect a timeless statement of personal style.
Joel Anderson’s artwork showcases the beauty and versatility of encaustics. With its ability to resemble smooth glass or heavy texture, he layers, embeds, transfers images, and etches to create artwork that pops. JoelAndersonArt.com 713-829-1065

My medium is a varied mix of tiny shells, scraps of paper, slivers of glass, thick gel mediums, crusted gouache additives, creamy acrylic and globs of oil paints, traces of watercolor and melted wax crayons combined with hardened enamels and carefully chosen 14kt gold flake.
Every piece is original and every creation is an unpredictable surprise! I create with a clear heart, no expectations. The materials combined together create a resist-like reaction and the results are different every time…..each piece is genuinely unique and original!
I’m passionate about living the artful life. I have a great appreciation for nature and animals,20% of all sales goes to S.N.A.P. (Spay and Neuter Assistance Program) for animals. I am also an active advocate for the “Adopt Don’t Shop!” movement which means finding forever homes for our homeless furry friends.
Love color and black and white. I fluctuate between the two which helps keep my paintings fresh. Nothing makes me happier then when people smile when they see my art.
