SEAN WALTERS Songwriter, singer & rhythm guitar player. A fixture on the Houston music scene since his Old Market Square gigs in the 70’s, Sean was well known during the 80’s for presenting the Sean Walters’ Songwriters Showcase every Sunday night. He started that at the Heights Diner, then moved to Blythe Spirits, then took the showcase to Chelsea 804. Sean was well known around town in those days & was respected as a songwriter & showman. He also had a group called the Wooters that did performance art shows. In the 70’s Sean had a lot of success on the college circuit with a country rock band called Walters & Hickman. Sean also starred as Judas in a bootleg production of Jesus Christ Superstar that toured the US.

My work is inspired by travel, adventure, wanderlust, emotions, connections and relationships, I enjoy painting with acrylics and love metallics and reflective surfaces.
After travelling extensively I have now settled in Texas. My BA Hons degree is from Edinburgh College of Art in Scotland, UK.
As well as co-ordinating the Hubbell and Hudson & Eight art exhibitions, I am also an exhibiting artist at St Lukes Hospital and The Hyatt Hotel in The Woodlands, Texas.
Real WhimFansical

Many people would look at my art and try to classify it into a certain category. This got me to thinking about how I could describe my style. My style can be described as real whimfansical. This description comes from the fact that my art is a combination of three styles. It is whimsical, mixed with fantasy and realism. After thinking about this combination I came up with the name real whimfansical, pronounced (whim-fans-ical). Tummy Rubb Studio

Ksenia Annis was born in the capital of Soviet Russia, Moscow. The experience of the incredibly rich Russian culture crushed under the weight of an oppressive political system formed her esthetic and artistic principles. With limited options available to creative people under the communist rule, Ksenia chose architecture as the outlet for her artistic talents. In Moscow Architectural Institute she received an education that included not only technical subjects but also extensive courses on drawing, painting, sculpture and history of art. After graduation, while working in various design firms, Ksenia devoted her free time to travelling to various European countries and the US to see masterpieces of architecture and fine art.
Architecture was both her creative outlet and financial lifeline after moving to the US early this century. However, the creative constraints of the profession and the soul-crushing nature of office life convinced Ksenia to pursue her true calling full time in 2008. As principal artist and owner of Tummy Rubb Studio she now devotes all of her time to traditional and digital visual art, working in acrylic, gouache and watercolor, as well as sculpture. Her focus is a whimsical interpretation of the world, which really shines in her paintings and illustrations for books, the first of which was published in 2015 on Amazon. Ksenia participates in regional and national judged shows and competitions, receiving awards recently with the Woodlands Art League and Watercolor Society of Houston. She was recently chosen as one of three finalists for a community inspired mural to be placed in a new Kroger grocery store in a contest organized by Houston Arts Alliance. Ksenia’s love of bears, who are prominently featured in Russian folk and fairy tales, inspired her sketch that appears on the Netflix envelope below. Carol Young Brackley
During the last several years I have traveled all over the world and seen magnificent places and things I would have never imagined. I love photographing animals and nature and then turning them into works of art, from wild animals in Africa to monks blessing the Ganges in India and much more. My original photographs are archival pigment printed on art paper and then I hand paint embellishments and highlights onto each individual print. Each print becomes its own work of art, unique in itself. My love of travel, nature, and art have led me to this path.
